The Election of President of Finland, 2012

The Election of President of Finland is interesting now! After first round it is clear that different party will win than earlier. Also it seems that there is going to be real battle between two candidates. Excellent. Who wants the lame elections ?

Finnish people are full of SISU (=courage & stubbornness), they had to change the game. Media was all about: Niinistö is going to win. What happened was that people voted for second strongest candidate, most probably over their own first choices.

Pekka Haavisto. Man has been in politics for years, but I would not have named him among the most known politicians for sure. I didn't know his spouse is a man, I have never concentrated on spouses. Anyhow that was a positive news. Homosexual then, if you have to give a name for it. The other alternative is to state that they seem to have a real love in their relationship, great. No other spouse talked about love when they were interviewed and asked about the President candidates as spouses.

In a way I hope that part of his success is because people want to show that sexual minorities should not be discriminated. What difference does sexuality make in politics? Sex and politics are combined together only in Italy with Berlusconi's less appealing guidance. Oh well, Bill Clinton... 

The most important character of the President of Finland is charisma. President has to know about politics and key persons so that she/he won't fall on tricky political road. Knowing finances is good, but it is more essential for prime minister. Finland is not a superpower, not even that important neighbour country of Russia since east-west  -thinking is not that strong at this moment. So the invitations for our president are not that hot as for Barack Obama. Charisma can take us a couple of steps higher in invitation hierarchy.

Let's see who is going to be the next president!
The 5th of February is the day. Before new president let us enjoy the fact that we have female president at this moment.

How did you celebrate New Year? Probably not like Rihanna and Justin Bieber, but on the other hand you didn't have to look perfect when year passed. ;)

What do you wish for year 2012 ?
Everyone wants happiness, many health and money. It is lucky to get a child. Especially lucky to get healthy child. It is great if you have enough money to be at home a couple of years with child.

This year is interesting. What is about to happen to European Union and especially to euro? Remember that in every financial stage there are winners too.
